Stelter then went on to mention another key word: "projection."
Projection is an unconscious process. We all have a psychological shadow of mostly negative traits -- we lie, cheat, steal -- which consciously we are unable to acknowledge, much less accept. The result is tension. The psyche seeks relief by projecting those traits onto the outside world, notably other people. Relief is achieved, but only temporarily.
In projecting betrayal onto others, is Trump´s unconscious mind asserting what his conscious mind rejects? Is he a traitor?
Yes. In saying Trump is a traitor I am quite aware of what I am saying. I am an accredited expert witness on politics in Federal Court.
Trump´s treasonous act has nothing to do with anything you are seeing and hearing in the mass media or coming out of Washington. Mueller and all the Democrat investigations into Russian-Trump collusion in the 2016 presidential campaign are a sideshow, a distraction from the main event. Democrats are going along with it -- indeed, creating and maintaining it -- because they do not want to impeach Trump. They want him to stay around; they see him as a weak candidate in 2020.
We identified Trump´s treasonous act in an article, "Donald Trump: Je T´Accuse" published here on December 1, 2017. In an effort to bring attention back to the real issue, I am republishing it here.
No, we do not have in mind possible Russian-Trump collusion in the 2016 presidential election. What we will show beyond a shadow of a doubt is that Donald Trump is a traitor.
I am a certified expert witness on politics in federal court; I am fully aware of what I just said.
What you are about to read gives a whole new meaning to the expression the art of the deal.

18 U.S. Code § 2381 - Treason:
Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

"Operation Inherent Resolve" is the name the Pentagon gives its anti-ISIS war:
One Mission, Many Nations
Combined Joint Task Force Operation Inherent Resolve continues to work by, with and through regional partners to militarily defeat the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, or ISIS, in order to enable whole-of-coalition governmental actions to increase regional stability.
Militarily defeat ISIS … increase regional stability. As is always the case with Pentagon Newspeak, “Inherent Resolve” is an ideological inversion. Turn it right-side up and the truth emerges: Incidental Wavering.
Who can forget the joyful news that ISIS´ de facto capital Raqqa had fallen? To see coalition troops jubilantly celebrating, watch this ABC report. Also, please watch the report that automatically follows it.
There is only one problem. The Raqqa victory was a fraud.
ISIS was allowed to leave Raqqa under a secret brokered deal.
The BBC report noted this pretext for escorting ISIS out of harm´s way. “In Raqqa ISIS was deeply dug in; to defeat it would have been costly in human life.”
You just saw a classic example of The Blivet Trick: trying to shove 10 pounds of horse shit into a 5-pound bag. Nobody knows that fact better than coalition commanders who attempted to keep secret the ISIS getaway deal.
Having surrounded Raqqa, all the U.S. and its allies had to do was sit back and wait. What would ISIS eat – cement? Pentagon, White House, CIA: on top of everything else, you need to learn how to lie properly.
It´s the same old story. As with ISIS chief Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, America held an estimated 4,000 ISIS chieftains, fighters and family members prisoner in Raqqa but needlessly, shamelessly, let them go with their weapons and ammunition. Why?
Hypothesis: ISIS paid a king´s ransom to be set free. There is no other explanation.*
The BBC report ended with the observation that the deal “meant battle-hardened militants have spread across Syria and further afield – and many of them aren’t done fighting yet.”

As we demonstrated in the post "America´s Fatal Flaw: The Belvedere Conundrum," (July 4, 2014) the United States, with possibly one exception, has never won a war.
Let´s go ahead and pin another gold star on the loser board.

Recently, United State Representative Steve Cohen and colleagues introduced articles of impeachment against President Trump.
Cohen´s articles are five in number. We think a sixth is in order.
As Commander in Chief, President Trump is responsible for Operation Inherent Resolve. It is preposterous to think that a deal of the U.S.-ISIS Raqqa magnitude could take place without his knowledge and approval.
If the American-escorted exodus of ISIS from Raqqa does not meet the legal definition of treason, i.e., giving aid and comfort to the enemy, what does?
*Actually, there is another explanation.
Iran Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei: "You [the United States] and your agents are the source of instability in the Middle East... who created Islamic State? America... America's claim of fighting against Islamic State is a lie." For the time being, we will pass over the covert alliance explanation so as not to complicate our megabucks hypothesis.
