When I was a university student, I read The Rebel by Albert Camus. It changed my life.
Camus was far ahead of his time in understanding terrorism and rebellion. Nevertheless, a few more steps were needed.
It took me 40 years to take them. The Source of Terrorism: Middle Class Rebellion was published in 2009. It is available at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Tower Books and Booklocker.
