One possibility among many which would involve artists in the war effort. (1) Have artists make realistic paintings - tompe l´oeil - of German, English and American tanks from a drone´s viewpoint. (2) The paintings could be run off in 100s of reproductions in copy machines. Small variations in camouflage, etc., could be added by expert hands. (3) The copies would be placed on the ground for the Russian drones to spot. Fooled, suicide drones, missiles, etc., would be wasted on destroying pieces of paper. (4) If the drones "learn" how to distinguish paper ghost tanks from real ones, paper ghost tank paintings could then be placed atop real tanks.
